Allure Cover Star Allison Williams’s Beauty Secrets

Allison Williams—intelligent, well spoken, funny, and supremely polite—has an extreme fondness for organizing. “I always joke that I have a tendency to just clean things up when I’m with a friend,” Williams tells Allure writer Taffy Brodesser-Akner. “It brings me joy.” In our December issue, the hyper-tidy Girls and Peter Pan Live!actress revealed the most crucial products in her beauty routine—and the asset she’s not faking (but everyone else is).
Her beauty must-have: “I use Homeoplasmine. It’s like Vaseline, basically, but it’s French, so in my head it’s really special and fancy.”
Her favorite new product discovery: “L’Occitane makes an almond shower oil, and I shave with that now—and my world is different. I have dry skin, so the almond oil is incredible.”
Her typical workout: “SoulCycle hurts my knees, so I started doing Pilates. I love it.”
The makeup she won’t leave the house without: “Mascara. There are my eyelashes, and they used to be considered good, until everyone started wearing fake ones.”
