Tomorrow is Princess Charlotte’s second birthday. And while her parents Kate Middleton and Prince William are no doubt prepping for a family celebration, they’ve kicked things off early this year. Today, Kensington Palace released an adorable photograph of Princess Charlotte in honor of the occasion. The photo was taken in April by Kate Middleton, who, as we’re well aware, is an avid photographer. The statement released by the palace read:
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share a new photograph of Princess Charlotte to mark her second birthday tomorrow. The photograph was taken in April by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk. The Duke and Duchess are very pleased to share this photograph as they celebrate Princess Charlotte’s second birthday. Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank everyone for all of the lovely messages they have received, and hope that everyone enjoys this photograph of Princess Charlotte as much as they do.”
Indeed, with Charlotte’s expression and her sweet blue and yellow lamb cardigan, the world will undoubtedly love the photo as well.
