At what age should you stop wearing a bikini? The answer: never, if you ask Irene Carney, whose bikini photo is causing a stir on the Internet. The 90-year-old is pictured on a family cruise, casually stunting in a red and white high-waisted polka-dot bikini from the Seafolly label — a brand which now has Gigi Hadid modeling its latest fashions. Carney serves us a subtle but strong vintage pose, her hand posed to perfection at her side, putting us all to shame with nary a damn given.

The image was posted on the Facebook page for the Lady Watego clothing brand. Lady Watego mentioned in the comments that Irene was encouraged to don the swimsuit by some friends and staff at her nursing home. Folks couldn’t stop singing Carney’s praises in the comments, calling her an inspiration. “That’s wonderful. I hope I’m still in good nick at that age!! Very admirable!” one commenter wrote. “Loving the attitude of this lady. A great example of loving yourself for who you are. You rock it,” another wrote. “Great advertising Seafolly,” one person said.

And no, we wouldn’t mind seeing Carney slay a Seafolly ad. Swimsuits for All recently tapped a 56-year-old model to star in its latest campaign, which you can find in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. Dreslyn and Land of Women also called on the talents of 60-year-old Yazemeenah Rossi to front their swimwear campaign. You don’t stop going to the beach once you get to a certain age, and there are plenty of older women who want to buy swimsuits — and see women who look like them represented in the brand marketing. So, Seafolly: your move.
