A suede jacket is typically a bit of an investment. A worthwhile one, for sure, but it'll make a dent in your account balance. There are two ways you can react to the hefty price tag: Go bare-bones basic in order to maximize wearability, which is, of course, a respectable strategy. Or, get the richest, dopest jacket you can find and resolve to wearing it only on certain days. We're feeling the second option, if only because this spring, designers have served up some especially good styles. These jackets are done in richest shades you can imagine, designed with retro details that are streamlined enough to work today, and finished with hardware that doesn't scream Wilson's. Here are a few of them. Nothing against a black suede bomber but we can't imagine a staple like that turning heads the way one of these will.
