Nike's a Starbucks Lover and Its New Sneakers Prove It

Who says fashion people don’t like food? Calories be damned! Besides being delicious, food provides plenty of inspiration for designers looking to add a gastronomic flair to their creations. Take for example Nike, which recently unveiled its latest shoe, a collaboration for all those Starbucks lovers out there. The Nike SB Dunk Low “Starbucks” Premium features the Seattle-based brand’s signature color scheme with a brown swirly pattern and green lining. This is just one of the athletic company’s food-themed kicks, selling a beige high-top sneaker with waffle-textured fabric and a Nike check decorated with dark brown drips. The shoe is inspired by fried chicken and waffles, and though we wouldn’t recommend trying it, these kicks look good enough to eat.
