The drunk aunt or uncle

At every wedding, there’s always that one family member that has a little (or a lot) too much to drink – and the progression of drunkenness is always entertaining to watch. They go from telling embarrassing stories about the bride or groom, to dancing a little too zealously during the reception, to flat-out hitting on the guests, making everyone uncomfortable.

The single hottie

Weddings are a hotbed for hookups, so every wedding needs at least one attractive, available guest – for those of us who aren’t getting married anytime soon.

The objector

There’s always one person who is at the wedding, but not really here for it. It’s best to stay away from this guest unless you’re willing to listen to them be a total downer all night.

The sloppy drunk

Ah, the sloppy drunk – it’s the guest we all don’t want to be, but there is bound to be at least one. Avoid being this person by pacing your alcohol intake – for every glass of champagne, down a glass of water.

The conservative older family member who is displeased with everyone

This guest is simply disapproving of everyone and rarely reserves their judgement, whether they show their displeasure with body language or with good ‘ole fashioned shady comments. Don’t let this person ruin your time though!

The sassy old person

Nothing is better than a senior citizen with a hilariously sharp tongue. This type of guest makes for a great dinner companion, and always has the best zingers, which get better as the alcohol flows.

The one chick who decides to wear white anyway

It’s one thing if the bride isn’t into this particular convention, or comes from a culture where brides don’t wear white, but for the most part, most people try to stay away from wearing white to a wedding. Sometimes, you encounter a brave soul who gives 0 effs about tradition and wears white anyway – feel free to side-eye this person.

The hot member of the catering staff

Nothing is worse than not being able to steal a dance from one of the attractive caterers because they’re at the wedding to work and not to flirt.
