10 Things to Know About Céline’s Fall 2015 Show

Season after season, Phoebe Philo gives women what they want at Céline. The favorites for Fall 2015 will include comfortable sneakers, practical bags, and some funny animal prints for a tongue-in-cheek flourish. While you wait for Tim Blanks’ full review, get the talking points from the show here. (And consider yourself warned: Joan Didion was not in attendance.)
1. The show was held at the Paris Tennis Club, where the floor was replaced with checkerboard ceramic tiles and guests sat on unique ceramic stools or wooden cubes.

2. Models had individualized hair and makeup that ranged from barely-there to a fully painted face. This model got the most dramatic treatment with both a teal eye shadow and a red lip.

3. The show opened with Frederikke Sofie Falbe-Hansen, her frizz of blond hair on full display, in a tight black sweater with bell cuffs and a textural skirt.

4. Accessories of note include the new high-top white sneaker shape and gigantic totes in red, orange, and black color ways.
