10 Fast and Easy Three-Ingredient Appetizers
By David Tamarkin, Epicurious
There’s a magic one-ingredient sauce, but there’s no magic one-ingredient dish. Because a one-ingredient dish is just, um, one ingredient. On a dish.
Two-ingredient dishes? Yeah, there are a few of those. I can think of cheese and crackers…yogurt and honey…apples and peanut butter. Am I the only one having flashbacks to kindergarten?
It’s when you get to three ingredients that things start to pop. Three ingredients can be a pasta dinner. It can be an ice cream sundae. It can certainly be breakfast.

Season wings. Roast in a 400F oven, on a wire rack set over a rimmed baking sheet, until crispy-skinned and cooked through. Toss in a big bowl with the butter and hot sauce.
