Wisconsin basketball reaches out to a mid-major transfer

Wisconsin basketball is already active in the transfer portal as the Badgers look to build for next season.

Lehigh grad transfer Evan Taylor has been contacted by a number of schools according to On3’s Joe Tipton.

Wisconsin is among a list that includes Loyola Chicago, DePaul, and Georgia. Taylor averaged over 14 points and 6 rebounds as a senior at Lehigh. He is a 6-foot-6 wing who would help Wisconsin immediately on the offensive end.

The Badgers are sure to be active in the portal after a season that saw them fail to close out games late and struggle with their depth. Expect Wisconsin to add a few pieces this offseason as they reload for 2023-24.
