WATCH: The best of stashed 2020 draft prospect Yam Madar in 2020-21

Though it could be some time before we get news on what is in store for stashed 2020 draft guard prospect Yam Madar, the Israeli floor general had himself a very good season in the Israeli Premier Basketball League with his team Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The Beit Dagan native had such a good season, he became the league’s youngest-ever player to win its Most Improved Player Award, and averaged 17.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Madar also shot 50% from the field, 40.9% from 3-point range and 82.8% from the free-throw line in his 2020-21 season with Hapoel Tel Aviv, who he is in arbitration with regarding his future with the team.

There is a need for point guard depth on the team, so there’s a legitimate chance Madar ends up in green and white next season, but the team may elect to go with a more veteran guard to start.

Either way, while we wait for clarity on the 2020 prospect’s future, we can enjoy this clip of highlights from Madar’s last season produced by YouTuber Tomasz Kordylewski.
