Video: Kevin Lee, Diego Sanchez face off ahead of 165-pound bout set for Eagle FC 46
MIAMI – Two former UFC stars are set to meet inside the Eagle FC cage at an upcoming event.
Kevin Lee and Diego Sanchez will throw down at Eagle FC 46, which is scheduled to take place on March 11. The meeting will take place in the new 165-pound division and will serve as the main event.
The event is set to take place at the FLXcast Arena in Miami.
Former UFC interim lightweight title challenger Lee (18-7) will compete for the first time since his UFC exit after dropping two straight. His most recent win was a devastating head kick knockout of Gregor Gillespie at UFC 244.
Sanchez (30-13) will also compete for the first time outside of the UFC since being a cast member on the very first season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” Prior to dropping a unanimous decision to Jake Matthews at UFC 253, Sanchez recorded a win over Michel Pereira after an illegal knee.
