Troy Hill, Cobie Durant uncertain for Week 3 after suffering injuries vs. Falcons

The already-shorthanded Los Angeles Rams could be even thinner in Week 3. Three players suffered injuries on Sunday against the Falcons: Tremayne Anchrum Jr. broke his ankle, Troy Hill injured his groin and Cobie Durant suffered a hamstring strain.

Sean McVay told reporters on Monday that Anchrum will miss the rest of the season, and he’s not certain Hill and Durant will be able to play on Sunday against the Cardinals.

Hill left the game in the first half with what McVay called “a pretty good groin injury.” He underwent an MRI, which the Rams are awaiting the results of.

Durant replaced Hill and played well, but he was also injured early in the game. He played through a Grade 1 hamstring strain, and still managed to hit over 20 mph on his 51-yard interception return.

His status, like Hill’s, is in question for Week 3 in Arizona.

McVay said if Durant and Hill can’t play, Derion Kendrick and Robert Rochell would be asked to step up alongside Jalen Ramsey and David Long Jr.
