Texas trending for four-star running back Terrance Gibbs

Texas is gaining some momentum less than a week before the early signing period.

Five-star offensive lineman Kelvin Banks got the ball rolling with his commitment on Saturday.

More good news is expected as the Horns have received four crystal ball predictions for four-star running back Terrance Gibbs.

247Sports composite has Gibbs ranked No. 30 among running backs in the nation and just outside the top 300 nationally.

Texas has four-star Jaydon Blue committed but Steve Sarkisian wants to take two running backs for this cycle. Gibbs would fill that hole in Texas’ 2022 class after Jamarion Miller flipped to Alabama.

Gibbs decommited from Florida in Nov. after the Gators moved on from Dan Mullen.

The Florida product totaled over 2,500 yards and 38 touchdowns in his sophomore and junior seasons. A torn ACL in fall camp cut Gibbs’ senior year short before it even started.
