Texas offensive lineman Tope Made expresses faith in staff, future of Texas football

There is a slim chance that Texas will play another game this season, but more likely than not, the first season under Steve Sarkisian has come to an end.

It was not glorious by any means, as after getting off to a deceptive 4-1 start, the Longhorns would go on to lose six straight games before winning their final game against Kansas State.

The struggles have many fans questioning if Steve Sarkisian really is “built for this,” or if he is just another coach to fail at resurrecting the sleeping giant that is Texas.

Sixth-year senior offensive lineman Tope Imade, who has been apart of all the regimes that have seceded after Mack Brown, took to Twitter to express his belief in Sarkisian and the program moving forward.

This should bode well for the program in the eyes of recruits, and current players, as it shows there is an appreciation and respect for Sarkisian. The new staff may experience some turnover this offseason, but certainly needs to strike gold on the recruiting trail in order to turn the program around.
