Snowball throwers at Kansas City stadium get busted by Andy Reid
If you were to rank the passing leaders at Arrowhead Stadium in the first half of Saturday’s Indianapolis Colts-Kansas City Chiefs playoff game, it’d go something like this:
1. Patrick Mahomes
2. Anonymous fan
3. Andrew Luck
Yes, it’s true: A dude in the stands had a better passing game in the first half than Luck. Here, just check out how close someone came to tagging Colts punter Rigoberto Sanchez:
And while we’re not sure in the video above if this is the guy who threw the snowball, he’s the one who got caught on camera.
Naturally, we at Yahoo Sports do not advocate snowball throwing in any form or fashion. It’s understandable how a bunch of jacked-up, snow-besotted football fans might turn to slinging some snowballs as a means of entertainment, but that doesn’t make it right. You could hurt somebody out there!
Chiefs coach Andy Reid wasn’t too pleased, either; he knew that the clowns in the stands were running the risk of getting his team penalized. So according to NBC, he told the fans who were throwing to “be smart” and “use your heads,” most likely in the best angry-dad voice possible.
Tough day for the Indianapolis offense, though, getting shown up even by the fans in the stands.
