Ryan Clark: Seahawks QB Russell Wilson ‘not an all-time great QB’
Russell Wilson is still a top-10 quarterback in the NFL, even during a down-year like the one we just witnessed. Despite missing three starts due to an injury to his throwing hand and taking several more weeks to fully recover, Wilson posted solid numbers in the 2021 season: 25 touchdowns, six interceptions, 3,113 yards and a passer rating over 100 for the fourth straight year. Along the way, Wilson managed to pass Peyton Manning in a few first-decade numbers.
Even after everything he’s accomplished the last 10 years, Wilson still has his doubters. Ryan Clark at ESPN claims Wilson is not an all-time great QB.
"Russell Wilson is not an all-time great QB. He's never going to be in those conversations. We have to stop putting him in that world that any team that has Russell Wilson can win a Super Bowl."

Clark is a good analyst, but he’s wrong here.
Wilson’s game is not perfect (nobody is) and he hasn’t earned an MVP or an All-Pro yet, but the vast majority of NFL teams would be thrilled to get the results Seattle has since 2012 at QB.
One day, Wilson will be in the Hall of Fame.
