Rams activate three more players from COVID-19 reserve

COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the Rams the last two weeks, causing several starters to miss games after testing positive. Fortunately, most of them have come off the reserve list in recent days, with three more being activated on Thursday.

The Rams announced that they have removed JuJu Hughes and Antoine Brooks Jr. from the reserve/COVID-19 list. They also activated Johnny Mundt, but he still remains on injured reserve and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

And finally, the Rams restored Jake Gervase back to the practice squad after he was promoted in Week 15.

Only six players remain on COVID reserve now. Jordan Fuller, Tyler Higbee and Joe Noteboom are the three from the active roster who landed on COVID-19 reserve, while Javian Hawkins, Justin Lawler and Warren Jackson are practice squad players who are still on the list.

The Rams would love to get Higbee, Fuller and Noteboom back before Sunday’s game against the Vikings, but at this point, they probably just hope no other starters test positive.
