Police arrest 16-year-old for allegedly stealing, totaling Magic guard Terrence Ross' Lamborghini

A teenager has been arrested and charged with burglary and grand theft after he allegedly stole Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross’ Lamborghini Urus from a dealership last month.

The 16-year-old, according to the Orlando Sentinel, is now in juvenile custody in Miami and is facing a burglary of a structure charge and third-degree grand theft. He was arrested on July 1, exactly one month after he allegedly stole Ross’ car.

Ross revealed on Instagram last month that his SUV was stolen from a dealership in the Orlando area and then totaled.

The car, he said, was valued at more than $200,000.

Ross said that he had sent his car, which was a 30th birthday present, into the dealership after getting a flat tire. Then he got a call from a police officer saying that his car had been found, which left him extremely confused.

“I’m so sick right now,” Ross said. “I’m so, so God **** sick. That was the greatest car I’ve ever had. Now, it’s gone.”

According to the Sentinel, the teenager backed a car into the dealership just before 1 a.m. on June 1. He then allegedly ran into the building, saw the orange SUV in the parking lot and grabbed the keys from inside the dealership before jumping into the car and taking off.

The first car, which was allegedly stolen, was found in a nearby parking lot. Officers found Ross’ Lamborghini totaled just north of Orlando hours later. They also received a report of a teenager sleeping in an elevator at a nearby building that morning, but the teenager ran off.

Ross averaged a career-best 15.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in Orlando last season, his fourth full year with the Magic. Ross is halfway through a four-year, $54 million deal.
