Peyton Manning surprising Colts fans at his statue will make your day

Indianapolis Colts fans wanted to take pictures with Peyton Manning’s statue, and ended up taking pictures with Peyton Manning.

NFL Films put a microphone on Manning on the weekend his statue was unveiled outside Lucas Oil Stadium. With the camera crew keeping its distance — the moment when Manning orchestrates the film crew to stay behind him is peak Manning — the former Colts quarterback drops by his statue as fans are taking pictures with it. The reactions are priceless.

Manning seemed to stick around and take plenty of pictures, chronicled in the video above, and it’s fun to see fans thank him and Manning show his gratitude as well. Seeing the greatest player in Indianapolis Colts history was overwhelming to some, who broke down in tears.

Even a couple years into retirement, all you need to do is watch that video to understand that Colts fans’ love for Manning will never die.
