Oregon announces Kyle Bolton as new Director of Speed and Performance

The Oregon Ducks have not had a ton of coaching turnover this offseason, which has been a pleasant surprise as compared to last offseason. However, after losing Jawarski Beckum to the Mississippi State Bulldogs, the Ducks needed to replace their Director of Speed and Performance.

They did so by bringing in Kyle Bolton, a former member of the TCU staff, where he served for the last two years as the assistant director of football human performance. He has made previous stops at California, Arkansas State, Baker University and Baylor, and was part of the 2023 Bill Walsh Diversity Fellowship with the Los Angeles Rams.

Before his coaching career, Bolton played wide receiver for Baker University.

“Oregon is a special place, with a culture synonymous with speed and winning,” Bolton said in a release from the university. “Being able to be a part of this program is a huge honor. I would like to thank Coach Lanning and Coach Love for putting their trust in me to help continue building this successful program. Go Ducks!”
