North Carolina football’s new Jumpman branding agreement is already paying dividends.
The team’s equipment Twitter account released pictures of the cleats Tar Heels players will wear this fall. And they’re pretty damn cool.

North Carolina basketball has long worn former Tar Heel player Michael Jordan’s Nike line. But the football team has previously been branded as Nike. That’s changing this season as the Tar Heels will join Michigan as football teams who wear the Jumpman brand. Given what the cleats look like, the uniforms have a pretty high standard of excellence to clear. We’ll likely see the new UNC uniforms as August hits.
