With the Super Bowl, NFL Draft, and free agency in the rearview mirror, there's a final major milestone of spring still to come: the 2024 NFL schedule release, which will provide the roadmap for the upcoming NFL season beginning in early September. The NFL has confirmed the full 2024 regular-season schedule will be released today, Wednesday May 15th at 8 p.m. ET.
While we wait for the release itself, we'll keep this post updated with all the information on the 2024 NFL season as it develops, including the first game of the season, schedules for primetime games, international matchups, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, and Tuesday's news that Amazon Prime’s Thursday schedule will kick off with Bills vs Dolphins on September 12th.

When and where are the 2024 NFL international games?
The 2024 NFL season will feature five international games, one each in Sau Paulo and Munich, and three in London. Here's the full international games schedule, released Wednesday:

Which teams play on Thanksgiving Day 2024?
The Lions host the Packers at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS, the Cowboys host the Giants at 4:30 p.m. ET on Fox, and the Packers host the Dolphins at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC in the annual Thanksgiving tripleheader.
Does the NFL have games on Christmas Day 2024?
Two games will be played on Christmas Day. The Chiefs will be in Pittsburgh to play the Steelers, and the Ravens will be in Houston to play the Texans. Both games will be streamed on Netflix.
When does the 2024 NFL preseason begin?
The Texans and Bears face off in the Hall of Fame Game, which kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 1, in Canton, Ohio.
