Yahoo Sports poll: Fans want more player celebrations in the NFL
The NFL is letting its players wear specialized cleats this week, and it has led to players using the #cleatsforacause hashtag to show them off.
It’s unusual because the NFL has plenty of rules in place that prevent players from expressing themselves. If you wear the wrong cleats without NFL permission, or carry on too much celebrating a touchdown, you might get a large fine.
The NFL has outlawed coordinated celebrations between teammates and using the ball as a prop, among other things. But fans polled by Yahoo Sports say they like player celebrations. Here are the results of the poll:
