Why Barcelona will struggle to win any trophies this season
There’s only one team that looks like taking the glory in Spain right now—and it doesn’t play in blue and red stripes.
Barcelona have now dropped seven points at home after 12 games, contributing to their worst league start since 2004. They have failed to cope with injuries, their attack is faltering and their main rivals, Real Madrid, are looking unbeatable.
We are less than a third of the way through the season, but it looks as if this could be a barren season for the Blaugrana.
