Maybe it’s #Supermoon, but whatever the reason Odell Beckham is feeling it on Monday night.

The New York Giants receiver has been strangely hot and cold this season, but he started out hot against the Cincinnati Bengals — and made one of the more lethal moves you’ll ever see a receiver put on a DB.

Check out Beckham absolutely smoke Bengals cornerback Adam Jones, no slouch of a corner, on this double move:

That TD put the Giants up 14-10 right before the half. Beckham caught eight passes for 79 yards and that score in the first half. Not only that, but he topped the touchdown off with a Michael Jackson-esque “Thriller” celebration.

You know, as in …

You try to scream, but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes
You’re paralyzed

Yeah, Jones had no shot on that one. He pleaded for the referees to call Beckham out of bounds, but it wasn’t close. That was the only hope Jones had after he looked silly trying to defend that absolutely wicked move.

Beckham appears to be back in fine form. We wrote earlier this season about how teams had a book on Beckham and it involved getting in his head early in games. Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict tried whispering something in Beckham’s helmet early in the game, but it clearly didn’t work. Beckham is back in his record-setting form.

Oh, and speaking of helmets … Beckham was on on the field on defense to defend the Bengals’ Hail Mary attempt — and the ball went off OBJ’s helmet as he got in front of A.J. Green.

What a first half.
