Faber, whose run as World Extreme Cagefighting featherweight champion back when that belt was the undisputed world title at 145 pounds paved the way for smaller fighters as headliners, announced on MMAFighting.com this week that his Dec. 17 fight in his hometown of Sacramento against Brad Pickett will be the final contest of his career.
