Ravens center changes wedding venue when his dog not allowed at ceremony

Call him Man’s Best Man.

For Baltimore Ravens center Jeremy Zuttah it was important to have his wedding go exactly as he imagined — and that included his dog, Ace, serving as best man. For real.

So when Zuttah and his bride-to-be found out that the pit bull was not going to be allowed to walk down the aisle on the big day at City Hall, well, they changed venues. Of course.

Zuttah and now wife Heran Haile met Ace when they were both students at Rutgers. There was no way they were having the ceremony without their companion and witness at hand. So they found a place that would marry them with Ace as a welcome guest, and the ceremony went off without a hitch.

The happy couple spends a lot of time as animal adoption advocates, so this is not just an odd quirk. But rather a strong message that love — with pets a vital part — knows no bounds. Just hounds?
