QMJHL goalie's errant pass leads to great desperation save (Video)
Saturday wasn’t the best of nights for Cape Breton Screaming Eagles goaltender Kevin Mandolese. His QMJHL side was shut out 7-0 by the Saint John Sea Dogs, but there was one positive to come out of the rout: This save.
The great desperation stop happened late in the second period with the Screaming Eagles on the power play down 3-0. It’s a heads up play by Sea Dogs forward Mathieu Joseph to just straight up one-time the errant pass rather than try and settle the puck for a second with a defender coming his way.

It was a pretty eventful second period. Besides the great desperation save by Mandolese, we also got to see a glass-shattering hit.
Sorry about the glass, @CBSEHockey. #PortCityRise
