STOCK UP

Myles Turner: He’s lived up to expectations, as Turner has been a top-25 player this season (just behind LeBron James) while seeing the fewest mpg (28:53) among anyone in that group. Over the last week, he’s averaged 18.5 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 2.5 bpg and 2.0 3pt, as he’s producing a rare combination of swats with triples as well as being a center who makes free throws. Turner is still just 20 years old and is a star in the making.

Lou Williams: He’s been a borderline top-50 player so far this season and recently completed a stretch in which he scored the most points off the bench during a four game period since 1970. His Usage Rate will take a hit with D’Angelo Russell back and getting healthier, but Williams is clearly a valuable fantasy commodity even while coming off the bench, and it helps the Lakers rank No. 4 in Pace.

Deron Williams: He’s averaged 14.3 points and 9.0 assists over his last six games, and Williams will continue to see a huge Usage Rate with J.J. Barea and Dirk Nowitzki sidelined. Williams remains injury-prone himself, but he’s played quite well of late, with a 20:2 assist:turnover ratio over the last three contests. He’s also shooting a career-high 90.6 percent from the line this season.

Kevin Love: Playing on a team filled with stars, Love has held the most fantasy value of them all so far, as he’s been a top-12 player. The Cavs own the third-best Offensive Efficiency in the NBA, while Love has by far his highest Usage Rate (25.3) since joining Cleveland. He’ll be rested during Wednesday’s game, but his fantasy stock is on the way up.

Eric Gordon: He’s second in the league in three pointers per game and has made a whopping 5.0 on 9.0 attempts (55.6%) from downtown over his past nine games. Houston ranks top-five in Offensive Efficiency, and this fit sure looks good for Gordon, who has a career-best True Shooting percentage (60.0) and is still available in 20 percent of Yahoo leagues.

This Anthony Davis dunk off the glass (was it an alley-oop or not?) was pretty great.

The Warriors have now gone 112 regular season games without losing two straight, the longest in NBA history.

STOCK DOWN

LaMarcus Aldridge: Hopefully it’s just a slump, but over the past two weeks, Aldridge has been the No. 149 fantasy player, as he’s struggled from the field (44.4%) and the line (58.3%). He got off to a slow start last season as well, but it’s also frustrating relying on a player taken so high in drafts seeing this type of playing time (31.5 mpg over this span).

Aaron Gordon: One of the bigger breakout candidates this season, Gordon has barely been a top-200 player and is losing playing time to Jeff Green on a young team all about the future. He started Tuesday, but this is a real problem. The Magic have the second-worst Offensive Efficiency in the NBA.

Rodney Hood: Hood looked like another young player ready to break out in 2016/17, but over the last 10 games, he’s shot just 38.0 percent from the floor. Utah has the second lowest Pace in the NBA too.

Emmanuel Mudiay: He’s owned in 55 percent of Yahoo leagues yet hasn’t been a top-300 player over the past month, when he’s shot 36.4 percent from the floor. There remains time for improvement from such a young player, but with few steals (0.8), you can do better now from your point guard in non-points leagues.

Brandon Ingram: In a depleted Lakers lineup, Ingram hasn’t been able to take advantage (even while starting). Over his last eight games, he’s shot an ugly 31.9 percent from the floor, as the No. 2 overall pick doesn’t appear ready to help fantasy owners (he’s still owned in more than 50 percent of leagues).
