Kevin Durant’s brother responds to Damian Lillard’s recruiting attempt

Just as teams do in collegiate athletics, organizations in the pros work hard to recruit talent to come and elevate their franchise and – Kevin Durant’s brother just shot down an attempt by Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard to lure Durant to Oregon.

Since the Kyrie Irving and Nets contract talks broke down, the NBA’s spotlight has been on the front office pretty intensely. While those talks are seemingly going nowhere, there were a flurry of rumors suggesting that Durant is upset with the team, upset to the point where he would want to go play somewhere else.

Now these rumors are based in very little fact as Durant is patiently awaiting his friend’s decision. This suggests that Durant is waiting to see how the deal plays out, Irving may not be his partner for next season.

Over the weekend six-time All Star Damian Lillard posted an edit that showcased Durant in a Trailblazers uniform. Blazers big man Jusuf Nurkić also reposted the edit, where Durant’s brother decided to chime in.

Tony Durant commented “No sir.”
