Josh Giddey calls Davis Bertans one of the more significant trash talkers he encountered
During a film session with ESPN Australia’s Andrew Gaze, Oklahoma City Thunder rookie guard Josh Giddey admitted that one of the players that talked the most trash to him was Dallas Mavericks forward Davis Bertans.
“One time in Washington, Davis Bertans — me and him were going back and forth a little bit,” said Giddey.
The game Giddey is referring to happened on Jan. 11, when the Wizards won 122-118. Giddey finished with 18 points, eight assists and six rebounds that game while then-Wizard Bertans finished with nine points and three rebounds.

Out of all the potential guesses as to what Giddey’s answer would’ve been with notable trash talkers he remembered from his rookie season, I think it’s fair to say that Bertans would’ve been near the bottom of the list for most fans.
