Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase trade jabs on social media

Joe Burrow’s speed was a topic of discussion recently when it was revealed that on multiple occasions, the Cincinnati Bengals franchise passer stayed behind after practices to run extra sprints.

After one of those occasions, word got out that Burrow ran in the neighborhood of 20 miles per hour during a sprint. That was a bit of proof Burrow used to point out that he’s finally feeling back to 100 percent from a physical standpoint.

But…star wideout and LSU friend Ja’Marr Chase isn’t buying it.

Burrow, who also doesn’t take to social media all that often, made sure to roll with the punch:

This is just June offseason fun while the Bengals sit on a six-week break before training camp and little else. But we’d be remiss not to point out that the team (and surely fans) don’t care about the MPH so long as Burrow’s feeling 100 percent after playing in the longest season ever after coming back early from a knee injury.
