James Conner, DeAndre Hopkins under go MRI for injuries

Arizona Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins and running back James Conner suffered injuries near the end of the team’s 30-23 loss to the Los Angeles Rams Monday night. After the game, Conner and head coach Kliff Kingsbury seems confident that the injuries were not serious.

However, the Cardinals needed to evaluate further.

Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Tuesday that both were set to undergo MRIs to find out more.

Hopkins has what Kingsbury called a leg injury. He said Conner has an ankle injury.

The Cardinals will return to practice Wednesday with their first injury report of the week.

Conner has been fantastic. Against the Rams, he scored two touchdowns and had 125 total yards from scrimmage. Hopkins had five catches for 54 yards.

Next for the Cardinals is a road game in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions.
