Internet laughs at Mark Sanchez after he recovers fumble with his butt
It didn’t take long for Mark Sanchez to make his return behind center.
The NFL veteran who hadn’t played since 2016 signed with the Washington Redskins two weeks ago to back up Colt McCoy after starter Alex Smith suffered a horrific leg injury.
Sanchez takes over for injured McCoy
On Monday against the Philadelphia Eagles, McCoy suffered a broken fibula in the first half. Enter Sanchez for his first NFL action in nearly two years.
On his third drive, the quarterback most famous for the butt fumble, provided plenty of laughs for a public that really enjoys laughing at Sanchez.
Fumble leads to jokes
He fumbled the ball on a sack from Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham.
He recovered it with the aid of his butt.
It made for plenty of jokes on Twitter, most of which had the same punchline.
