Former WWE star Alberto Del Rio, real name Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan, has been arrested and is facing sexual assault charges, according to News 4 San Antonio.

A woman reportedly presented authorities with photographs and graphic details of an alleged beating and sexual assault, and said that Del Rio had assaulted her on multiple occasions. She also reportedly accused him of threatening to “take her son and drop him in the middle of the road somewhere.”

The most recent incident allegedly occurred on May 3, in which Del Rio accused the woman of being unfaithful and repeatedly slapped her across the head when she wouldn’t admit any infidelity. She alleged that Del Rio then told her to put on a dress and dance for him and threatened her with abandoning her son if she cried.

Del Rio then allegedly tied the woman’s hands with boxing straps, put a sock in her mouth and sexually assaulted her for hours. There were reportedly visible injuries from punches to her back.

Among the charges Del Rio is reportedly facing is a second-degree felony sexual assault, with bond set at $50,000.

Del Rio has faced domestic battery charges before, with reports of an investigation into an incident at a Florida airport. Del Rio’s partner at the time, fellow WWE star Paige, later said Del Rio did not touch her during the incident.

Del Rio last wrestled with WWE in 2017. He also had a loss to MMA great Tito Ortiz overturned for unknown reasons.
