Former Alabama LB Demouy Kennedy transferring to Colorado

Former five-star and Alabama linebacker Demouy Kennedy announced that he is transferring to Colorado on Wednesday. He posted the news on his Instagram account.

Kennedy joined Alabama as a member of the 2020 recruiting class. He played sparingly in three seasons at linebacker. He tallied just eight tackles. His primary role came on special teams on the Tide. During his junior season, he was a crucial part of the Tide’s special teams unit but suffered a season-ending injury.

Now, he is headed to Boulder to play for Deion Sanders. Colorado has become a hot commodity for players that have entered the transfer portal. The Buffaloes are trying to build something special. Kennedy will help their cause of being a competitive team in the Pac-12.
