Eagles to part ways with QB coach Press Taylor

Press Taylor is out as Eagles quarterback’s coach and passing game coordinator according to Mike Kaye of NJ.com.

Taylor joined Chip Kelly’s staff with the Philadelphia Eagles as the offensive quality control coach in 2013.

Doug Pederson was hired in 2016 and retained Taylor, promoting him to offensive quality control/assistant quarterbacks coach.

Taylor was a part of the coaching staff that won Super Bowl LII and after the 2017 season,

Taylor was again promoted, this time to quarterbacks coach to replace John DeFilippo who left at the end of the season to become the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings.

Taylor added the title of passing game coordinator last season and was expected to become the Eagles offensive coordinator before Doug Pederson was fired.
