Eagles grant special teams coordinator Dave Fipp permission to explore other options

The Eagles now have a head coach and after initially blocking the Lions’ request to interview special teams coordinator Dave Fipp, the veteran coach has now been granted permission to seek other opportunities.

The Eagles ranked 22nd in special teams DVOA in 2020.

Fipp was hired by Chip Kelly as the Philadelphia Eagles special teams coordinator, replacing Bobby April in 2013.
