What a day! Justin Fields breaks NFL quarterback record

In case you haven’t been paying attention to what former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields has been doing over the last few weeks, he’s starting to figure things out — and this week in a big way.

The Chicago Bears were at home hosting the Miami Dolphins Sunday and Fields had one whale of a game, breaking an NFL record. Fields tossed three touchdowns and no interceptions, but he was almost unstoppable on the ground. He broke the single-game NFL rushing record for a quarterback by wracking up 178 yards on 15 carries (11.9 avg.).

The Bears have significant cap space they can use this offseason and are attempting to stockpile draft picks. It sure looks like they are starting to figure out Fields is the guy to build around given what we’ve seen over the last three weeks or so.

In case you missed any of the action, we have some of Fields’ best plays from Sunday afternoon in the Windy City.
