Crystal Palace host Everton on Saturday in an unlikely top of the table Premier League clash.

Roy Hodgson’s side have started the season in spectacular form, defeating Southampton and Manchester United, with Wilfried Zaha producing standout performances in each match.

Meanwhile, Everton too have started brilliantly in their first full season under Carlo Ancelotti.

The Toffees new-look midfield in particular, of James Rodriguez, Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure, has completely rejuvenated the side, with impressive victories over Tottenham and West Brom.

What is the team news?

Gary Cahill, James Tomkins, Patrick van Aanholt and Nathan Ferguson are all injured as Palace continue to juggle a series of defensive absentees. However, Jairo Alderweireld is nearing a return. Christian Benteke is also in contention to make the squad.

Mason Holgate, Jarrad Branthwaite, Jonas Lossl, Cenk Tosun and Jean-Philippe Gbamin all remain sidelined. However, Rodriguez, Allan and Doucoure are all set to return having been rested for the Carabao Cup.
