As part of the $450 million renovation project, a 7,661-square-foot scoreboard was scheduled to be installed at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field. On Tuesday, 50 days before the college football season opens up with a Thursday night showdown between the Aggies and South Carolina, the final panel was installed on the brand new scoreboard.

Take a look.

Everything about the renovation to Kyle Field is impressive. According to the Dallas Morning-News, all construction, which began in the hours following the Aggies’ home finale against Mississippi State, is currently on schedule to be completed by the Aggies’ home opener against Lamar on September 6.

This round of construction is one of three phases of the total renovation project, which will be completed in August 2015. The official capacity will increase from 82,600 to over 106,000 and numerous amenities around the stadium will be upgraded.

As far as the scoreboard is concerned, at 47-feet tall and 163-feet wide, it will be the largest scoreboard in college football and the first scoreboard to feature 1080 HD resolution.
