Bills has most states backing them on Championship Sunday

The Buffalo Bills were once dubbed by Terrell Owens famously as “North America’s team.”

For at least a weekend, the Bills can drop the first word.

CBS Sports recently did some research into who is rooting for who to win the Super Bowl heading into Championship Sunday between the four teams that are remaining in the NFL postseason. Along with the Bills and Chiefs, we have the Packers and Bucs to consider as well over in the NFC.

According to CBS, the team that’s far and away the No. 1 team being rooted for this weekend is the Bills:

This probably has something to do with Buffalo’s underdog persona heading into this weekend. The Chiefs are the defending champs, but the Bucs and Packers have also won Super Bowls before. Heck, the Packers even dub their home “Title Town.”

Taking a look into the logistics of the map, we do have a few interesting notes. In regard to the Bucs, it looks like a nice chunk of the New England area is in Bucs red. Some Tom Brady fans evidently still survive there.

On the Bills, one state in particular, which is actually Chiefs red, very, very interesting. It’s Wyoming. Bills quarterback Josh Allen attended college at the University of Wyoming.

Finally, let’s just note that there are Bills fans in Hawaii.

Who knew?
