On Monday, Alabama football players received rings commemorating their Sugar Bowl win over Clemson and their 26-23 win over Georgia in January’s National Championship Game.

The championship rings are loaded with more than 150 stones and feature two trophies representing their victories in the College Football Playoff following the 2015 and 2017 seasons.

Players showed off their jewelry on social media, with some taking the opportunity to taunt UCF, which awarded national championship rings and unveiled a championship banner on Saturday in its continued insistence that it’s college football’s true champion. UCF was not invited to the College Football Playoff despite owning NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision’s only perfect season.
