Alabama Football: Former 4-star DL enters NCAA transfer portal

Former four-star defensive line prospect from the 2018 recruiting class, Stephon Wynn, has entered the NCAA transfer portal, Matt Zenitz of On3 reports.

Wynn made a few appearances since joining the Crimson Tide. In 18 total games played over three seasons, he has recorded 13 tackles.

Originally from South Carolina, Wynn chose to commit to the Crimson Tide over offers from other high-profile programs such as Georgia, Clemson, Auburn, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State and others.

There’s no telling exactly where he may land now, considering he is nearly four years removed from his original recruiting days.

With limited eligibility remaining, Wynn will likely look to join a program in need of a big defensive lineman capable of stopping the run. Playing time will likely be a major factor in his decision.

He stands at 6-4, 307 pounds and can be a big, physical presence at the line.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Wynn as he goes through the transfer portal process.
