NFL draft: 49ers select Nick Bosa at No. 2 overall

The San Francisco 49ers have used another first-round pick on a defensive lineman.

The Niners chose Ohio State pass-rusher Nick Bosa with the No. 2 pick, marking the fourth time in five years San Francisco has taken a defensive end in the first round.

Bosa is the younger brother of Los Angeles Chargers’ rusher Joey Bosa, and the son of John Bosa, who was a first-round pick of the Miami Dolphins in 1987.

The Bosas are the second family to see the father and two of his sons all chosen in the first round of the NFL draft, joining the Mannings.

The 49ers made a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs last month to acquire Dee Ford, and now add Bosa, so they’re dedicated to getting to quarterbacks.
