2023 USC target Bravion Rogers decommits from Texas A&M

Bravion Rogers is ranked as the No. 39 overall prospect in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Texas native committed to Texas A&M back in early April.

Now Rogers has reopened his commitment after backing away from the Aggies.

Rogers is a two-way player playing defensive back, with most of the snaps at cornerback. He also plays wide receiver. Rogers was named to the Texas 13-4A II (yes, that’s the name of the high school district in Texas) First-Team All-District Team on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and a cornerback as a sophomore. He repeated that feat as a junior as well.

Also as a junior, Rogers recorded 27 tackles, a tackle for loss, two interceptions, six pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries, including one he returned for a touchdown. On offense, he ran for 1,006 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging 9.7 yards per carry, while also catching nine passes for 336 yards and six more scores.

The four-star cornerback has 21 total offers, including USC, Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Oregon, LSU and Tennessee.

Let’s see if the Texas native could possibly come out west for a visit in the near future.
