2022 NFL draft order: Jets hold 2 top-8 picks entering Week 16

With 14 games in the books and just three left to play, the 3-11 Jets are in line for two of the first eight picks in the 2022 NFL draft.

Per NFL.com, New York has its own first-round selection at No. 4 and Seattle’s at No. 8. The Jets own the Seahawks’ first-rounder thanks to the Jamal Adams trade.

New York suffered its third straight loss in Week 15, as Duke Johnson ran for over 100 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Dolphins to a 31-24 win. Brandin Echols gave the Jets life with an interception midway through the fourth quarter to tie the score at 24, but Miami promptly marched down the field to reclaim the lead for good. New York’s offensive line struggled mightily in the second half, allowing Zach Wilson to be sacked five times.

The Jets have a real chance to snap their losing streak when they take on the disheveled Jaguars this weekend. Jacksonville currently owns the No. 1 overall pick with a 2-12 record. A win over the Jaguars would get the Jets off the shneid, but it would also be a detriment to their chances of landing the top pick.
