You may know Rickey Minor as the cool, beret-wearing bandleader on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” He’s also the owner of a West Hollywood gated compound with a cliff-side swimming pool on over half an acre.

How’s that for cool?

The music director’s jaw-dropping home, located at 2925 Montcalm Ave, West Hollywood, is now on the market for $4.95 million.

The interior is beautifully decorated, playing off 1930s architectural details including overhead beams, dramatic chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows revealing a 180-degree canyon view. In fact, the view is perhaps the biggest selling point of the home with verdant gardens, sweeping tiered terraces and multiple outdoor dining areas showing the valley and Hollywood sign in all its glory.

Minor reportedly purchased the property in 2010 from “Sons of Anarchy” actress Katey Segal. According to property records, there were multiple offers at that time, but Minor closed the deal for $3.77 million.

Minor listed the home just a week ago, but with several sought-after amenities, it’s likely to get snatched up by another Hollywood regular soon. In addition to a library, eat-in kitchen, soaking tub and walk-in closets, the listing boasts a standalone guest house, complete with another bedroom, office and music studio, kitchenette and gym.

Minor is truly a self-made man and taught himself to play and compose music. He took over “The Tonight Show” band after Kevin Eubanks left in 2010. Minor has also served as a musical director for “American Idol” and several singers including Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys and Beyonce.

The listing for Minor’s mansion is held by Hilton & Hyland’s Marcie Harley.
