No dorms for Miranda Cosgrove! The Nickelodeon star bought a home shortly after she began her first year at the University of Southern California, reported The Los Angeles Times. According to property records, the 19-year-old spent $2.65 million on the traditional home in the Lower Outpost Estates area.
Cosgrove just recently ended her role as the lead character on the successful show “iCarly,” where she played a teen girl who hosts her own Web show. Cosgrove spent seven seasons on the show and was ranked one of the highest paid teen television actresses.
The hefty paycheck allowed her to buy her own place 20 minutes from USC’s main campus in Los Angeles.
The 3-bedroom, 3-bath home was built in 1952 and has been completely renovated to include a chef’s kitchen with Carrera marble and high-end appliances, as well as fresh exterior paint and shutters. The private home is surrounded by a hedge and front gate to keep “iCarly” fans and paparazzi at bay.
