He may play a serial killer on TV, but in real life, Michael C. Hall would rather buy and sell stellar houses in Los Angeles.

The “Dexter” star has just sold his Hollywood Hills home for $2.1 million. The 1920s Spanish-style estate was originally built for British actor Ronald Colman, and Hall purchased the property in July 2012 for $1.95 million.

The 4,572-square-foot home at 2092 Mound St., Los Angeles, CA 90068 contains 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and sits on a third of an acre. The home features a media room, reading nook, wine room and library. There’s also a 1-bed, 1-bath guest cottage.

According to property records, Hall currently hangs his hat in Los Feliz. But it’s not clear where he will land the next acting gig.

After eight seasons, “Dexter” has finished its run, but there’s talk about a spinoff “Dexter” show. However, producers say the only way that will happen is if Hall agrees to continue playing Dexter Morgan. Hall says he will only agree to continue the series in any capacity after he is presented with a new script.
